About the event: Indigenous languages in contemporary African society
Welcome to the SAALT and SALALS annual conference website.
This year the conference will be held in Pretoria at the University of Pretoria's Groenkloof Campus.
The conference themes for this year:
- Intellectual: Indigenous languages in contemporary African society
- Visual: De Stijl art movement
- Registration: R4,000 (All inclusive)
- Registered students (proof required): R2,800
- Day registration: R750 (Gala dinner excluded)
- Sunday evening: Welcome reception (R150)
